Knitting: One Circular Needle: Magic Loop Method

Knitting: One Circular Needle: Magic Loop Method

Magic Loop Method is by using One Circular Needle ( with the cord long enough ) to make a United Circle ( without the effect that the stitches were separated ) for Hats, Cuffs, Socks etc...

With the way the economy is today not many are about to go out and buy fixed circular needles for every single project...

I am using Knit Picks ( Knit Pro ) Circular Interchangeable Needles

I Casted On 20 Stitches ( for Demo use Only )

I split the stitches into an even amount on each side

Knitted the top half of the stitches ( make sure that the Working Yarn is on the Bottom needle...which are the stitches you will be working on after the Top set of stitches )...if you have any Questions, Concerns, Comments, or Suggestions... please feel free to do so and I will respond ... As Soon As Possible...Peace...SweetWaterPurl

Knitting: Rib 3x3 Stitch: Even Number of Stitches

This is an example Only of Even Stitches:
The way I set up the ribbing is...

First, I Cast On 20 ( Cast on 21 so last rib is complete) Stitches...

Second, I began with 3 Knit Stitches using Eastern European Method...because the loop on the left needle leans towards the front on the Back of the loop...and it is easier to knit the stitch that way since it's leaning forward from the back of the loop...

Third, I continue moving on to stitch 4, 5 & 6 which are Purl stitches...I use the Variation Purl.... because it does not cause stress on my fingers or hand...

Fourth, I continue this pattern of: Knit 3, Purl 3, Knit 3, Purl 3...etc...until I get to the last 2 stitches...

Finally, the last 2 stitches... I end with 2 Knit Stitches...

WARNING:
This is Even Number of Stitches..meaning you Begin with 3 Knit Stitches and you end in 2 Purl Stitches

This Demo Pattern will be:
K3, P3, K3, P3, K3, P3, K2 (K3 if you cast on 21 stitches)...if you have any Questions, Concerns, Comments, or Suggestions... please feel free to do so and I will respond ... As Soon As Possible...Peace...SweetWaterPurl
